• | | It is hereby put forth that only the King can proclaim the time and date of an offering of a chance to win the King's Ransom. |
• | | Offerings shall only be made at an official EWMA event and there will never be more than one offering per event. |
• | | If there is no winner, the King's Ransom will be held over until the King declares another. |
• | | At the next offering the previous funds will be offered plus 50% of the revenue from all new tickets sold at the current offering. |
• | | The King shall offer tickets for purchase in the amount of $1.00 each for 1 to 4 tickets, $5.00 for 7 tickets, $10.00 for 13 tickets, $15.00 for 20 tickets or $20.00 for 30 tickets and grants his subjects the opportunity to purchase as many as they desire until such time that the King announces that purchases will terminate for that offering and all ticket stubs will be collected and a public drawing will be held. |
• | | There will be but one ticket drawn per event. |
• | | After a winning ticket is drawn, the deck will be shuffled and spread out on a table face down and the winner of the ticket drawing will select one card from the deck. Upon request, the King of Hearts will be displayed after the drawing. |
• | | If that person selects the King of Hearts then he shall be declared the winner of the King's Ransom. If that person draws any other card from the deck, that card shall be removed from the deck and banished for all time and the funds and remaining cards shall be held over until the next drawing. |
• | | The King's Ransom will again be offered at a time and place of the King's choosing until the winning ticket holder draws the King of Hearts and is declared the winner. |
• | | Once a winner is declared a new King's Ransom shall be proclaimed and a new deck of 52 cards will be provided. |
• | | This is a 50/50 drawing, with half of the monies collected being bestowed upon the winner of each series of ransom offerings. |
